Let's recap
We have been very blessed to have grown the way we have and been recognized by prominent media outlets such as Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, and ELLE. We hope that our values will continue to be acknowledged and shine through. Our products have been recognized such as EYE LIFT with Vogue’s best eye cream of 2021 and PURE CELL PROTECTION with Vogue’s best facial oil of 2020 and ELLE’s best skincare product of 2020. We want to provide a community that shares and informs #ChatelierBeauties all over the world on how to live an ethical and healthy lifestyle and are beyond grateful these prominent media outlets have picked up on our brand values.
How it all started
The emergence of Chatelier was caused by the lack of prioritization from luxury skincare brands on ethical and sustainable implementations. Founder Laura Kaats was shocked to observe the performance of luxury skincare brands regarding health, the planet’s health, and the sustainability aspects of supply chains and packaging materials. Traditional luxurious brands tended to score low in terms of environment and health, animal welfare, climate, and labor conditions. At Chatelier, we want to be as transparent as possible; we are transparant about our ingredients, how we package the goods and share with you the benefits of a sustainable and organic product. Through awareness, alternative solutions, and collective actions, we can help the planet breathe again, while at the same time provide you with the highest quality skincare ingredients.
The start of our blog
As Chatelier is expanding, our next step is to provide a space to share our thoughts and more information about how to live an ethical and healthy lifestyle via our new blog. On top of our need to provide a clean product for our #ChatelierBeauties, we were inspired by the The Law of Le Chatelier, a law in Chemistry. When a chemical balanced state is disturbed by external factors such as pressure or concentration, the state adapts itself in such a way, it will reach the state of harmony again. Just as our products aim to give #ChatelierBeauties healthy and balanced skin, our blog is dedicated to helping you to live life to the fullest without harming the planet or your skin.
