Here is how Chatelier is promoting a more sustainable self-care routine.

Every time you buy one product, we’ll plant a tree. Since Chatelier was founded, thanks to your power as a sustainable and socially responsible consumer, we have planted two batches of trees: the first one on December 25th, 2020 in the Amazon Rainforest and the second one on December 29th, 2021 in Africa. This not only helps fight the current global climate crisis, by reforesting arid lands, but also contributes to the development of local communities, creating jobs, and improving the soil’s conditions.

At Chatelier, our packaging is made of recycled and recyclable materials. We use glass bottles, which are recyclable unlimited amount of times. Once you run out of your products, we advise you to dispose the bottles in the glass recycle bin. Our product boxes as well as mailer boxes are made with recycled and FSC-certified recyclable cartons. The insert of the droppers, pumps and caps are made of PP, which is recyclable. When plastic is not avoidable, we try to limit its use as much as possible.

Our products’ formulas are created with a clear idea of environmental sustainability in mind. Most of our ingredients are organically grown, which promotes the development of healthy, vitamin-rich soil. Our ingredients' organic nature is not only good for the environment, but is also the key to delivering highly concentrated nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants to your skin.

Chatelier wants to embody high-performance luxury skincare while maintaining an ethical, sustainable, and cruelty-free perspective. Therefore, Chatelier skips ingredients that could potentially be harvested by children or in bad work environments and chooses certified organic ingredients as often as possible, which also means farmers got paid a fair wage. Chatelier also doesn't use animal products nor performs test on animals.
